Fyre Ref

Bwahahahaha, I have improved so much~ This is my lovely arcanine gal, Fyre. She was the first character I made based off of my username (as in using y in completely unnecessary ways). Her old ref was ugly and outdated. I went and made the design a bit more original, and less eye burning.

Originally she was part of a Pokemon fan-fic style comic I was doing. Her trainer, Zephyr, was the daughter of the two characters from Pokemon Colusiem. She had the ability to summon different legendary pokemon to help her out in tough situations, using a crystal her father gave her (which he got from one of the pokemon as a gift). She rarely does, instead having a really cool set of pokemon (arcanine, luxray, shiny lucario, ninetails, and some other ones I don't remember). Since her family raised and bred pokemon, they were pretty strong, or at least not super weak like when you start new games >:I

Fyre's backstory was pretty sad. Her mate and children were kidnapped by one of those generic evil villain teams (I think I called them Team Plasma), who wanted to use them for.... something or other. I think it was closing the hearts (something from the actual game), then turning them into large fighting forces. That and experiments. ANYWHO, she was captured as well, but wasn't as trainable/strong. Team Plasma sold her to some fighting ring and that is where Z found her. Z bought her and kept her as her second team-mate. Fyre came to trust the duo, eventually falling into the role of a protective, motherly figure for others on the team.

I'll probably never finish the story, but I had fun thinking of it when I was :'D She is still shipped with Fang (luxray from the same story, who is also getting a new ref). Not sure if I'll do refs for any of the other characters, none of whom where ever drawn. I don't really have any attachment to them, I just didn't like Fyre's old ref.

Ok, done rambling. I'm going to go sleep on the couch now :3
